We are looking for a talented Frontend Engineer - SDE III, who is passionate about new technologies and has a real desire to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment to reinvent the industry.

What You Will Do on a Typical Day

You will be joining one of the agile teams of our Marketplace called Shopping, which is in charge of providing the best experience allowing our users to find the most suitable transportation for their business trip (millions of travels managed per year chosen between billions of results).

You’ll work on a distributed architecture, composed of micro-services deployed on AWS. We apply the best standards and keep our tech stack up to date to provide a high-quality product that meets our client's needs. Your role is to:

  • Contribute to new features from inception to production, working across the company with product managers, UX designers and other teams in an agile environment.

  • Deliver tested and optimized high performance code.

  • Analyse customer feedback and identify opportunities for enhancing the customerexperience.

  • Contribute to the production duties for the services owned by your team: Monitoring, Release Management, ...

  • Contribute to our inner-source culture (Internal Open Source) by delivering high quality code that levels up not only your team, but the entire organization.

  • Opportunity to showcase your work on our tech blog and internal & external conferences.

Who You Are

  • You are convinced that testing is coding.

  • You can drive the technical implementation of projects at various scales, from small to larger projects spanning several months.

  • You have learned that you build better software in a team that practices agile methodologies.

  • You enjoy dealing with complexity in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment.

  • You build efficient and reusable web components and architect reliable, performant, and scalable solutions

  • You have good experience with React, GraphQL and modern JavaScript/Typescript libraries and tooling

  • You have experience with or is interested in applying server driven UI concepts

  • You embrace the DevOps culture and seekautonomy to bring additional value to our users (experience with CI/CD tools like Cypress, Jenkins, Git, Docker, NPM, ...)

  • Technologies we use: React.js, REST and GraphQL, Cypress, Cucumber, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Git, Jenkins, Datadog, Java 17, Springboot, ...
